NEIL COLEMAN - NEIL COLEMAN - Founder, President & CEO

Neil founded Signalysis in 1987 and is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations. He also ensures that all clients receive the Ultimate Customer Experience by remaining actively involved in the solution design process. Much of his attention is focused on transferring technology from field test experience into tools that provide the foundation for Signalysis’ future products. Neil’s testing and engineering experience includes positions with NASA, Northrop, SDRC, and Zonic.

JOHN WILSON - Chief Financial Officer

John brings over thirty years of financial management experience for companies in the NIV Testing and Automotive Parts Manufacturing markets. He serves on the Signalysis executive leadership committee and is responsible for all areas of finance and accounting including reporting, budgeting, accounting, and job costing.

KYLE COLEMAN - Software Manager

Kyle oversees the design and implementation of source code development for computer-aided engineering applications. He has experience with object-oriented design and implementation using C++ and with design and implementation using Object Pascal.  Kyle has worked with several software compilers, including Borland C++, Microsoft C++ and Macintosh Programmer Workshop. Throughout his career, Kyle has employed many development environments including MacApp, C++/Views/Allegris, Raima Object Manager and SigCLASS.  He has extensive knowledge of DOS, Windows 3.0 and 3.11, Windows ’95 and NT, Macintosh and HP/UX operating systems.

PHILLIP WILKIN - R&D Manager

Phil manages the company’s electronics department, designing and constructing support electronics such as remote displays, control and signal conditioning.  His responsibilities include application development, programming, quality control and technical support for both data acquisition and data analysis in vibration and acoustics software. Phil is experienced with a number of programming languages including: C++, ASM, BASIC and MS Windows.

Software Team

ROBERT COLEMAN - Sr. Research Engineer

Bob Coleman pursued a career largely in aerospace engineering, although his academic background is entirely physics. His work has spanned 44 years, beginning with Polaris Rocket testing at the U.S. Naval Propellant Plant, and continues with Signalysis, Inc. His most significant effort may have been as part of NASA’s SMIS project while working at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. Here, analytical finite element and experimental modal test methods were combined to analyze Shuttle Orbiter structural integrity after space flight missions. Coleman was presented the Astronaut’s Silver Snoopy Award for his contribution. Some of the NASA technology has been brought to bear at Signalysis, using intrinsic vibration characteristics to detect product defects on assembly lines of numerous plants across the U.S. and abroad.

Operations Team

Seth Beusterien - Customer Support

Seth collaborates with customers to meet their requirements, while fostering teamwork to ensure the delivery of optimal solutions efficiently. He is a US veteran with six years of experience in the US Air Force working on the Air Force’s network. After the military, he attended the University of Cincinnati where he earned a mechanical engineering degree. Seth has spent the past two years in the automobile industry as a Quality Engineer.

Robert Cagle - NVH Test Engineer

Robby’s role as NVH Test Engineer means he has his hands on projects from the initial sales concepts to final implementation. He uses his mathematics degree to research and develop new technologies and algorithms to offer new solutions for our customers’ sound and vibration concerns. He uses his skills in Python and Minitab to take the project concept work across the finish line to deliver the ultimate solution to our customers.

Konnor Barnes - Electrical & Controls Engineer

Konnor recently joined the Signalysis Operations Team as an Electrical & Controls Engineer. He lends his expertise to any electronics related tasks, including creating schematic drawings and wiring machinery for projects. Konnor is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he studied Electrical Engineering Technology.

JAMES RAIKE - Shop Manager

As Shop Manager, James is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of many of the components in our quality inspection test systems. A native Cincinnatian and father of one, James is a proud graduate of Elder High school. After graduation he sharpened his skills in a variety of production roles.

JERRY NIEB - Technical Consultant

Jerry is a registered Professional Engineer with 40 years of experience in the metals, automotive, manufacturing, defense, medical and aerospace industries. Jerry graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1978 with a BSME from the University of Cincinnati.  Throughout his career, Jerry has designed,  developed, and installed numerous data acquisition and process monitoring systems. One of the highlights of Jerry’s career was his association with the Yamaha motoGP Factory Racing team.  He is pictured here, at Laguna Seca in 2009, with Yamaha factory rider and 3-time motoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo.

ELIZABETH MOCKBEE - Office Manager

As Office Manager, Elizabeth’s responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, ordering, administrative and project support and all office related duties. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Elizabeth spent time in New York and France before moving back to Cincinnati. She enjoys reading, sipping coffee and wine, and spending time outdoors.

Kenechukwu Onaga - Operations Team Co-op

Kenechukwu’s duties are to assist with operations. His duties include creating or editing CAD models, assembling parts needed in operations, collating and analyzing data and on various parts so that research can be done on them, and brainstorming ideas to help the operations team.

Mike Gabsky - Operations Team Co-op

A resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mike is a student at the University of Cincinnati. He is currently spending his third co-op term with Singlaysis. He is working mostly on TMMK, collecting data and making sure the mechanics work. Mike is building a system for mastering and alignment of tools used on TMMK, and lending a hand where help is needed.

ANDREW WHITELY - Project Fulfillment

As Project Fulfillment Manager, Andrew is responsible for making the dream a reality. After receiving a project from the Sales Team, he works with the Signalysis Operations Team to construct an accurate BOM and Build Timeline. Andrew keeps track of the project cycle managing the builds and ensures successful delivery.

ANGEL QUINTANILLA - Applications Specialist

As an Application Specialist at Signalysis, Angel helps to bridge the gap between lab testing and production line needs in the automotive industry.  He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Applied Mathematics. Angel’s area of interest and studies are nonlinear system dynamics, adaptive control and system identification of mechanical systems. He Started AQT-Engineering as a consulting service for companies looking for creative solutions to problems that require advanced controls and electrical engineering analysis.

 

Sales & Marketing Team

CRAIG COLEMAN - Media Director / AV Production Lead

As Media Director, Craig is responsible for Signalysis video, pod cast, and related audio visual production. Under Craig’s leadership the Signalysis Media Department (SMD) will continue to provide our clients with timely, informative, and often fun, information and news.

ROBERT FARRELL, JR. - Marketing Communications

Bob’s career began more than 35 years ago at SDRC (Now Siemens PLM). Since that time he has gained experience in marketing and communications for engineering & manufacturing software, testing, product development and related disciplines.
